The Japanese firm Fukuda Denshi Co., Ltd. was established on July 23, 1948. Fukuda began its activity from 1939 under the name “Fukuda Tokusyu Iryo Denki Seisakusyo” that can be translated as “Fukuda Special Medical Electrical Plant”. The first electrocardiograph in Japan was produced on this plant in 1939. The authorized capital of Fukuda group JYen 4,621 mln and the sales are more than JYen 88 mln (about US$ 1 bln). From the very beginning of its activity the firm was dealing with the development, production and sales of the medical equipment.

The quality control system of Fukuda products was based on the international Certificates ISO 9001 and ISO 13485:2003. The production conditions and the product quality of Fukuda meet also the requirements of the European Directive 93/42 EEC and correspond to the Canadian Medical Devices Quality Assessment System (CMDQAS). The firm has an excellent laboratory for electromagnetic compatibility testing of the medical equipment. This laboratory was accredited in 2007 in accordance with NVLAP – National Voluntary Accreditation Laboratory in the USA. The laboratory meets the general requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories – ISO/IEC 17025:2005 Standard. Fukuda also has the International Certificate of Ecological Management System – ISO 14001.
At the present time the number of employees exceeds 2600. The firm has its own branches in the USA, Great Britain, China, Germany and Switzerland.
During the last years the firm Fukuda Denshi steadily increases the supplies of its electrocardiographs in Russia. The share of the firm Fukuda on the Russian market of the imported ECG apparatuses reaches 10% in some years. New models of Fukuda electrocardiographs

The new models of Fukuda ECG apparatuses CardiMax FX-8222 и FX-8322/8322R are expected to appear on the Russian market of the medical equipment at the beginning of 2011. New models of Fukuda electrocardiographs have the following characteristics:
- 6,5 inches sensor screen with the resolution of 640x480 dots
- 18 bit analogue digital converter
- five speeds from 5 to 50 mm/sec
- power supply from the AC and the in-built batteries
- RS-232 and USB, two ports each, and also LAN port
- internal memory for 500 ECG
- external memory: USB drive or SD memory card as an option
- width of the folded or rolled paper: 145 mm for FX-8222 and 210 mm for FX-8322
- key-board in FX-8322 and VGA monitor output for stress test
- interpretation of the results of measurements
Cardiographs are compact, the weight is 3 kg and 5,2 kg correspondingly.

Kaden Yasen Medical Electronics Co., Ltd.

The Chinese manufacturer Kaden Yasen Medical Electronics Co., Ltd. specializes on the development, production and servicing of electrocardiographs. The production capacity of the company allows to produce about 10000 ECG apparatuses per year. Kaden produces one-channel, three-channel, six-channel and twelve-channel electrocardiographs. The company has its own branches in all main cities of China.
The firm Kaden started the production of cardiographs in 2005 and until now supplied its products to more than 50 countries in the world. The company received the Certificate ISO 9001:2000 and also the Quality Certificate ISO 13485:2003. The production conditions meet the requirements of the European directive CE 93/42. The firm Kaden is currently one of the main manufacturers of cardiographs in China. The big number of the Chinese trading firm offer Kaden products both in China and abroad.

The company Kaden has been supplying its ECG apparatuses of ECG-903 и ECG-903A models to the Russian market since 2006. During four years these Kaden models established themselves as the qualitative ECG apparatuses which are not inferior in reliability to the similar apparatuses of the famous brands. Kaden electrocardiographs have the quite modern and practical design. In general, the Chinese apparatuses on our opinion are somewhat inferior to the Japanese in terms of compactness and elegance.
